3.Once the dough is well chilled, divide it into 2 portions. On a lightly floured surface, roll out 1 portion of the chilled dough to 1/8-in (3-mm) thickness and trim to obtain a long, narrow rectangular sheet measuring 15 x 5 in (37 x 12.5 cm).

4. Spoon 1 tablespoon of the Filling at equal intervals along the length of the dough, placing them slightly closer to one end.

5. Brush the dough all around each mound of Filling with the beaten egg.

6. Cut the dough vertically into 2 sections for easy folding.
